An ode to Rotto:
Lost me thongs, reckon they’re back on shore.
Rotto was wild, pure folklore.
A loose weekend with a tight-knit crew,
No biffs, no beef, just tins and a view.
Chook were had, blocks quickly disappeared,
For Geordie Bay jetty we gently steered.
Hit the pylon, tinny tied to moor,
Cleaned ‘em outta chooks at the general store.
Back on the boat with the loot on ice,
Wallets weepin’ paid twice the price.
What a sesh! What a spot! How mint is Rotto?
I’d remember more of it if I wasn’t so blotto.
